Actor Rob Lowe, best known for his roles in “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation,” and his wife, jewelry designer Sheryl Lowe, are listing their East Coast-style estate in Montecito, California for $47 million.
The couple custom designed the home after purchasing the property in 2005. They hired a Feng Shui master to help create the peaceful atmosphere of the estate, which can be seen through the layout and design of the property.
The huge main house has 20 rooms, containing six bedrooms, a formal living and dining areas, a home office, a screening room, a wine cellar, numerous terraces, and a piano bar.
In addition, the property is home to a two-bedroom guesthouse and an 800 sq. ft. pool home with a kitchen and bedroom. The estate also includes a reflecting pool, a koi pond, rose and vegetable gardens, a swimming pool, a fire pit and a tennis court with two observation areas.
Celebrity neighbors of the property include Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Bridges.
The property was reportedly not affected by the January fires and subsequent mudslides.
